FEATURED PRODUCT: "Conceptual Chemistry Alive!"
This is a semester-length digital video series of the first 12 chapters
of Conceptual Chemistry presented by the author, John Suchocki.
Conceptual Chemistry Alive! features mini-lectures, demonstrations,
animations, home chemistry projects, and explorations of chemistry
in the community. Students browse through QuickTime movies in an
interactive environment that follows the table of contents of the textbook.
After viewing a segment, the student answers concept checks that encourage
students to test their understanding of key material before moving on.
A student's answers are recorded in an electronic notebook that may be
printed or stored on the student's computer. More than a study supplement,
"Conceptual Chemistry Alive!" is a textbook companion suitable for
distance learning programs or for instructors seeking to free-up class
time for student-centered curricula.
